ABOUT US®
We believe that small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.
BUILDING A BETTER FUTURE
A new partner for conservation
The IAMWILD Foundation is a non-profit organization that sponsors wildlife, ocean and land conservation projects, builds schools in developing countries and restores wild ecosystems by planting trees and seeding mangrove forests. By taking action on critical areas related to conservation and wild ecosystems, together, we can create a positive contribution to the environment and a better life for future generations.
Animal populations

1970 and 2014
85% of all species are
threatened by habitat

By 2050 there will be more plastic in the oceans than there are fish (by weight)
Our Activities
We believe transforming conservation requires action, collaboration and education. The IAMWILD Foundation focuses our support around three core activities, which enables us to accelerate short-term impact while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our activities.
CONSERVATION
We support wildlife, ocean and land conservation, by empowering a range of charities through financial support programs. Through the gallery we have raised over one million dollars for a variety of causes and worked with over 30 charitable organizations.
EDUCATION
We believe taking action also means educating the next generation of leaders about our connection to wildlife, the environment and wild ecosystems. Built in collaboration with the Petra Nemcova Happy Hearts Foundation, The Wild Horses of Sable Island Kindergarten in Piyungan, Indonesia, was our first education-focused project.
REFORESTATION
Eighty percent of Earth's land animals and plants live in forests, and many cannot survive the deforestation that destroys their homes. Deforestation also drives climate change. Our goal is to plant 100 million trees in the next 6 years.
The Power of the Wild
We started IAMWILD® because I have seen how art can transform the world.
My twenty-five-year documentation of the Wild Horses of Sable Island has helped raise money for various charities, build a kindergarten in Indonesia, plant trees in Brazil. The images have moved, touched and inspired people in ways I could have never imagined.
Through my own efforts to give back to the community, through conversations with collectors, fans and visitors at the Wild Horses of Sable Island Gallery, what became clear is that Art & Beauty can make a positive impact toward conservation, by create conversations, fostering collaboration and transforming the way we look at conservation.
I have been deeply inspired by my experiences, and I am convinced that, together as a community of artists, fans, collectors and consumers, we will generate the power to bring about positive change and protect our planet Earth.
Carl Sagan said:“Anything else you're interested in is not going to happen if you can't breathe the air and drink the water. Don't sit this one out. Do something.”
Through the IAMWILD Foundation we can do something. I invite you to join us and take action on what might be the biggest issue of our time — CONSERVATION OF OUR HOME — EARTH!
