Art & Beauty can Inspire Action
IAMWILD® believes that art and beauty can create awareness, inspire us to think differently and most importantly to take action in protecting the environment, wildlife and wild ecosytems.
OUR FOCUS
IAMWILD® is focused on two key areas:
- Art & Experiences
- Product Partnerships
Art & Experiences
IAMWILD® is working on the launch of the IAMWILD® Nomadic Museum — an immersive multisensory art experience that will start in NYC and travel to over 80 cities around the world. The museum will feature works from the 25-year exploration of The Wild Horses of Sable Island™; by our founder Roberto Dutesco, along with artworks from both local and international artists.
Product Partnerships
IAMWILD® partners with brands to design co-branded products and services. With IAMWILD® brands can easily and seamlessly integrate conservation into their existing operations.
THE IAMWILD MANIFESTO
“Wild” is not Out There.
Wild is Here. Everywhere. All around us.
It is among us and within us.
All of us, collectively and individually, are part of wilderness itself.
We all are wild.
IAMWILD is a reminder that the true question is not just whether we care for the Earth, the oceans or the wild lands. Nor is it simply about saving polar bears, gorillas, tigers, whales or dolphins.
As a key part of the global ecosystem, it is also about saving ourselves, our home and the things that make us human.
Because caring for all that is wild
is caring for the future of our children and our children’s children.
Because the diversity and the beauty of all that is wild
is our true legacy for them.
IAMWILD is an invitation to think differently.
It is an invitation to all to take action.
It is an invitation to reclaim our future and
for each of us to proudly proclaim . . . #IAMWILD
IAMWILD® Conservation Activities
We believe transforming conservation requires action, collaboration and education. IAMWILD® focuses our support around three core activities, which enables us to accelerate short-term impact while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our activities.
-
CONSERVATION
We support WILDLIFE, OCEAN and LAND CONSERVATION, through our own projects and by empowering a range of charities with financial support programs.
-
EDUCATION
We build schools in developing countries and create community education programs that focus on conservation.
-
REFORESTATION
With 85% of wildlife impacted by deforestation, we aim to help restore wild ecosystems by planting over 10 million trees.

The Project Started it All
We believe taking action also means educating the next generation of leaders about our connection to wildlife, the environment and wild ecosystems. Built in collaboration with the Petra Nemcova Happy Hearts Foundation, The Wild Horses of Sable Island Kindergarten in Piyungan, Indonesia, was our first education-focused project. Beyond providing a school to a community in need, by rallying community leaders around the project enabled us to see first hand the power of art and education to spark conversations, promote collaboration and transform conservation.
The Power of the Wild
We started IAMWILD® because I have seen how art can transform the world.
My twenty-five-year documentation of the Wild Horses of Sable Island has helped raise money for various charities, build a kindergarten in Indonesia, plant trees in Brazil. The images have moved, touched and inspired people in ways I could have never imagined.
Through my own efforts to give back to the community, through conversations with collectors, fans and visitors at the Wild Horses of Sable Island Gallery, what became clear is that Art & Beauty can make a positive impact on conservation, by transforming conversations and fosterinhg collaboration.
I have been deeply inspired by my experiences, and I am convinced that, together as a community of artists, fans, leaders and collectors, we can come together to bring about positive change for the planet and protect all that is wild.
Dostoyevsky said:“Art will save the world”. IAMWILD and the Nomadic Museum are the embodiment of this idea.
I invite you to join us in taking action on the biggest issue of our time.
